June & Lark began with a simple belief that the most meaningful moments are often celebrated through thoughtful, personal gestures. A gift for a friend, a handwritten note, flowers on the table, or bringing something special when you're invited into someone's home. Those are the small acts people remember.

Hi, I’m Sara.

After more than 15 years in marketing, leading events and customer experience initiatives for a Fortune 500 retailer, I spent the last several years helping organizations grow through leadership and organizational consulting. While I loved that work, I found myself wanting to create something that felt more personal—a place where beautiful products, meaningful experiences, and community could come together.

June & Lark is named after my son, Larkin, and our Cavapoo, Juniper. They each give me a daily reminder to stay curious, creative, and connected to what matters most.

From the beginning, I imagined June & Lark as more than a gift shop. I wanted to create a welcoming place where people could discover local makers, learn a new skill, celebrate life's milestones, and spend time together through workshops, pop-ups, and community events. Riverside has an incredible culture of supporting local businesses, and that sense of community has shaped everything I'm building. My hope is that every visit feels personal, welcoming, and inspiring.

Every item in the shop is thoughtfully curated to make gifting, gathering, and celebrating feel a little easier—and a little more meaningful.
